Introduction and overview

Vikoma developed the containerised and trailer package concepts in response to industry needs. The containers are typically built to ISO standards and the trailers are normally single or dual axle designs, depending on area of operation.

The packages can contain a combination of booms, skimmers, temporary storage and sorbents.  It is possible to package a complete Tier 1 or Tier 2 set of equipment.

The packages can be tailored for use in a number of environments including offshore, coastal, ports or harbours, pipelines and rivers.

The containers provide the end user with secure and weatherproof storage.

The containers are supplied with corner blocks and fork lift pockets ensuring ease of maouverability and storage.

Trailers with either NATO-eye or ball hitch towing can be provided.

Trailers can be designed for off-road and soft sand conditions.

The packages can be supplied with lights, corner legs and brake systems.
